AUTHOR BIOGRAPHY
Steven Philip Jones is the author of The Bushwhackers, a western novel published by Avalon Books (www.avalonbooks.com). A work of fiction, the novel's story was inspired by a real-life string of 26 murders that occurred in 1863 Colorado. In THE BUSHWHACKERS Joshua Brand, the most powerful man in the Rocky Mountain mining town of Eleanor, hires Pinkerton man and bounty hunter Paul Kirk after Brand's only child becomes the latest victim of a mysterious gang of bushwhackers. This does not sit well with Eleanor's sheriff, jeb Moses, especially after Moses discovers Brand and Kirk share a dark past.
