He was the greatest conqueror of all time!
It wasn't Julius Caesar, or Alexander the Great, or Napoleon, it was a Mongol from the East, revered as the Great Khan.
The incredible saga of Genghis Khan who ruled the largest empire ever in history and whose legacy lasted for generations. His empire stretched across half of the known world and struck terror into the nightmares of European children for fear that "the Mongols were coming." He brought forth a level of destruction that defies comprehension as entire civilizations were wiped out, empires were crushed, and the religious of the time claimed he was the Anti-Christ, come to claim the world. His goal was to stretch from the Pacific Ocean on the East to the Atlantic Ocean on the West. And he nearly did, stopped only by the ravages of old age.
But his was not an entirely barbaric rule as he created a route that brought the East to West and introduced one side of the world to the other. He instituted laws that were even followed by criminals, and set up a legacy that established three more great empires.
He was known as the "Great Khan" and even though Anglo-American history only touches upon his greatness, the world knows him as the greatest Conqueror of all-time.
