Stories in the Legends of Camelot
The following are stories that have already been published by Caliber.   There are currently
another four in the works and plans are to continue.  The magnitude of the Arthurian legends will
provide an endless supply of stories while maintaining the integrity of the classic concept.

EXCALIBUR
A sword so magical that it’s name has gone into the legends of myth and fable as one of the most revered weapons ever. But it symbolized much more than just a steel blade, it was the symbol of the great King…of the Round Table…of the nobility of the Knights…of the magic of Camelot.
     Excalibur.
The tale of Arthur’s magical sword, Excalibur that this is not the romanticized King Arthur of popular belief, but more of the traditional and historical view.

MERLIN
The most famous magician in myth or history.
The mage who guided a great king.
      He was Merlin.

Delving deep into the mythos of King Arthur, this issue tells the tale of a young Merlin-called Myrddin and his mysterious beginnings. It shows how he came to ambiguously prophesy a future for the land of Britain. Living in Carmarthen with his mother, the men of King Vortigern come to seize the "fatherless child" whose blood is needed for a sacrifice so that Vortigern’s stronghold against the High King’s sons can be completed without incident. But Myrddin, while in a trance, has a pointed way of convincing him that he knows more than the king’s own druid. Will Myrddin’s predictions come to pass?

QUEST FOR HONOR
In the days of the great king, Uther, there was another good, but lesser King. A man named Gereint. He was wed to his love, the Lady Enid who was much younger than he. His love for her was so great, that he spent his days with thoughts of only cherishing her and abandoned his adventure and noble actions.
Now he ventured out to prove not only himself, but to prove how strong the love of his was with Enid. Would he ride against an unbeatable foe to prove his worth…to prove his rightful place on the throne…to prove he deserved the Lady Enid’s love?
An enchanting tale deep in the past of  King Arthur.

THE ENCHANTED LADY
     A secret amongst the Druids…
A mysterious Lady of the woods.
     A young king-to-be.
A compelling saga entrenched in the mythos of Arthur.
An entirely fictional twist that tells a tale from young Arthur’s foster age with Sir Ector, before he became king. Fifteen is a difficult age for anyone and that includes the young Arthur. While all the knights do the fighting and reveling, Arthur wearies of the day-to-day duties of being squire to his brother Kay. When a beautiful noblewoman comes to the manor requiring his assistance, Arthur is eager to accompany her, and as they walk the same path, the lady enlightens Arthur on how to be insightful and look within himself, however her own life has been a tragic one. It seems that Saxons and dark druids conspire against this mysterious and enchanted lady. This narrative is a lesson learned early for the  king-to-be of all Britain.

SIR BALIN and the DOLOROUS STROKE
Chastised for causing the death of Lancelot’s betrothed, Balin desires to return to the graces of the Round Table and Arthur gives him the opportunity. Balin delivers a pledge to a dying knight that he will pick up the cause of Lady Ceri and then finds himself battling an invisible knight. Can a magical artifact save him?
