SEEKER Secretly, she is LeAnn Masters a woman who wears the mantle
of Seeker proudly for she understands that she is Seeker and Seeker is her. But she's wrong.
Brief Description:
Seeker is a government agent assigned to crimes of corporate espionage and
terrorism. The persona of Seeker has become an icon for the public so the
government, specifically the Tactical Attack Corps, utilizes the Seeker character for good
public relations. There is talk that Seeker has existed before but that is
irrelevant to the TAC force as they have their own agenda for Seeker.
Key Elements: Action and intrigue. Flashy sorcery and special fx. Strong female lead character. Secret agent, super-hero, fantasy-horror. Association: Mixing the dark, gritty and moody atmosphere of FOX's Batman and Disney's Gargoyles, Seeker also takes on the otherworldly and super-heroic feel of Todd McFarlane's Spawn. Format: Seeker has had eight issues out and has proven to be a very popular character. The saga of having different heroes take up the mantle of the name is an intriguing idea that Caliber is deciding whether to tap into. The original concept of Seeker being an entity force of Atlantis is also being considered versus the more action oriented operative role that is currently the role of Seeker. Additional: Seeker has had a circulation (either as lead or back up) in nearly 150,000 copies circulated. It is a very striking character and features a strong female lead. The avenues left open regarding the truth of Seeker would allow it to move into a lot of different directions. It can be of an anti-terrorist hero or it could bring up the ancient mythology of the character which would also allow a variety of Seekers existing in the past, present, and future.
