Its a new era, a new
Prohibition
..
A new band of the UNTOUCHABLES!
In 1921, Prohibition was put into law in the United States of
America. This of course, led to the rise in power of such notorious gangsters as Al Capone
and Frank Nitty. In order to combat the lawlessness of Capone and the corrupt police force
of Chicago, Elliot Ness and the Untouchables were formed. Eventually prohibition was
repealed and the Untouchables dis-banded.
But what if?
What if prohibition was never revoked and instead was broadened to
include other vices such as tobacco and drugs?
What if Ness didnt move on to Cleveland to act as that
citys Safety Director
but simply disappeared?
Years later, Ness is an American icon and his disappearance rivals
that of Amelia Earhart. Legalized gambling has replaced many of the banned substances of
the day and the city of Chicago has become a haven to casinos, gambling, and
mobsters
.not controlled like todays Las Vegas, but more as the Sin City was
during the mob wars that erupted there a few decades ago.
The Untouchables are reformed under a new command and the lawless
had better start watching their backs in this tale of crime, punishment, and what if?
Yes, the Untouchables has spawned two different television series
and a major movie but this is an all new different version that features an entirely new
slant of the legacy left by the original members. Taking the concept out of the
1920s and putting it into todays world, this new breed of Untouchables are
much more relevant and intriguing than the originals because the possibilities are open
ended.
